In 2012, two great friends - a Brit living in London and a New Yorker in Los Angeles - teamed up to create what they envisaged would become a global luxury brand for the 21st Century.
Having spent the last two decades doing things as diverse as working in the Furniture department at Christie’s, helping out at Andy Warhol's Factory in Union Square, studying at business school in Paris and establishing a leather stationery company in London, they decided it was time to put everything they'd learned to good use. They wanted to put into practice their love of beautiful design and having taken ten years to master printing onto leather they thought that the time was right to launch themselves onto the luxury market.
They're aiming to continue in the tradition of great British design and craftsmanship but with a functionality suited to modern life. Separated by the Atlantic Ocean their combined aesthetic doesn't really belong to either continent...or to any one style. It's neither Modernist nor Neo-classical, Federal nor Bauhaus. It is, they hope, simply global.
